CrossFit Fort Lauderdale is thrilled to be the first official affiliate of F.I.T. in Fort Lauderdale. F.I.T. is probably best defined by its acronym: F**ng Intense Training. Still intrigued? F.I.T. is a high-intensity, interval-style workout that leverages lighter weights, more reps, and alternating exercises to burn more calories, and get you the fittest you’ve ever been. Bam! Our one-hour workouts are designed to burn more calories (an estimated 900 per workout), raise your heart rate to ideal levels and offer you a twist in how you achieve traceable, repeatable and sustainable results.
From cardio, plyometrics, functional movements, core and strength training (with body weight or kettlebells), CrossFit Fort Lauderdale’s F.I.T. Program is a great starter option for new CrossFit athletes, and a dynamic alternative to current CrossFitters. Oh – and don’t think that means it’s easy! F.I.T. is a versatile option that allows some athletes to stay within F.I.T., migrate to our full CrossFit program or alternate between both.
CrossFit Fort Lauderdale’s F.I.T. is a great program for athletes who want to participate in obstacle racing, triathlons, long distance runs and other endurance events. Our program is designed to improve work capacity and significantly increase endurance. Unlike other boot camp programs, F.I.T is designed in a very similar manner to our CrossFit program: with the intention to increase overall core strength and conditioning.
